   We have been providing furniture and drapery services to Central Florida for over 20 years. We handle both commercial and residential projects. Our furniture division provides repair, refinishing, cleaning and upholstery services from large hotel projects to fine antiques. Similarly our drapery division provides cleaning and installation services for both commercial and private residences. All work is done in-house by our experienced technicians and installers. Our clients receive free estimates and personal attention, to ensure satisfaction. David is the founder, president, and operating owner of Moonlite Hospitality Services. It has grown and blossomed out of a dry cleaning business founded 30 years ago and it has been quite an interesting route traveled over the years.

 

A full-time musician (AKA Johnny Moonlite) straight out of college, David toured the country with 50’s super-groups Clutch and Super Gold for almost 20 years. As a Vegas, Reno and Atlantic City staple act, he shared billing or opened for many of the music industry’s biggest stars. With a new and growing family he founded Moonlite Valet Cleaners as an alternative income to life on the road as a full-time touring musician. The dry cleaning business did very well (26 years in business until it was sold), but David expanded his attention to more artistic pursuits which included furniture and drapery design, fabrication and installation. Due to the growing demands of a burgeoning business, it eventually became time to devote all his energy to Moonlite Services. It was time to be home with the family which had ALSO expanded to three kids, who needed a full-time parent.

 

MHS has now grown into a reliable and constant resource for major hotel rehabs for Disney and Universal, having completed over 60 major projects with five more in progress or beginning. He contributes the personal attention to detail that only an artist can bring to the table. Newer pursuits include residential projects and antique restoration, which focuses on more intimate and personal relationships with private customers and ultimately the complete satisfaction of their needs.

 

David keeps in his interest in music alive with the occasional “gig“ at various local venues. He truly is “an oldie but a goodie”.
